New Beginnings

The summer holidays are over and I have to go back to school.
Now my teachers are Miss Procter and Mr. Hunter.  Miss Procter is very nice and so is Mr Hunter.

My learning journey this term is revolting recipes and I am reading Roald Dahl books.

My favourite is Matilda.

We went up to London to see Matilda the musical.  It was really great.  There were pieces of confetti that came fluttering down from the ceiling.  At the end everyone was scooting around on scooters, on one of them were some dice.
The little girl who played Matilda was very clever because she acted well.

Yesterday I went to the paralympics and got this pin and a mandavill but I lost it. The paralimpics was ausome I liked the long jump, it was very good because thay were blind and thay had someone told them to jump, by shouting at them to show them when to jump. The blind runners were tied to someone else so they know which way to turn.

The way we looked when we first saw the stadium

The whole Paralympics amazed me especially when i got to the top of the stairs and looked at the whole stadium. The people who took part were very lucky to be there because they were loads of people chearing them on, their whole country all watching them. I was very impressed by them because they were all in the Paralympics and they all did a very special job.

The International Space Station - the ISS

This is the ISS (the tiny dot in the sky)

It was night time when we went down to our back garden and stared up at the sky and saw the ISS coming from the west.
It was the britist thing in the sky.    It went across the sky at 70 000 miles per hour with 6 astronorts on board.

I saw two shooting stars in a row.   There was a meteor shower called the Perseids.
I was very lucky to see them but i didn't make any wishes.

It was very late at night.

Day at the beach!

We went to meet our cousins and one of our friends,   Miss Fingerneissl, at the beach.

I made a fire out of stones and tried to roast some mussels.  It didn't work because it wasn't a real fire.

My cousins live in Canada.  They used to live in Las Vegas.  They also used to live in the Ukraine because our cousins were adopted.

Their names ar DJ, Max and Vanya. DJ is 6, Max is 5 and Vanya is 13. Yesterday Max  had his birthday yesterday.

Last weekend they came over and we went to have a walk in the woods.  We played 40 40.

Transmogrifier - Into the Future

This post is written by mum - according to what Jakie said from inside his box:

Jake: "I'm back!"

Mum: "Where have you been?"

Jake: "I've been to the future!"

Mum: "What did you see?"

Jake: "There were flying cars and the houses were upside down.  Small people had big shoes and big people had small shoes.  Everything was free."

Mum: "A communist utopia?"

Jake: "Not really.

Because everything is free there are no robbers and gold has no value.  Only air has value.  You have your own personal weather.  You press a button and choose it but you can't see what other people's weather is like.  You have to ask them."

Zack: "Technical fault!  You're still in the future."

Liv: "What's that?" (Pointing to a bit of paper)

Jake: "Oh, this?  I found it in the future.  It's a weather panel."

Mum: "Tell me what else you saw in the future Jake."

Jake: "You can't really describe their clothes.  Well, the weather panels are really awesome.  When you're sledging down the hill in the snowy one, and someone is watching you in the sunny one, they see you in a little cart.  And once I went back in time and I got younger as time passed and disappeared when I got past the day I was born.  None of the dinosaurs saw me but I still existed there.  To me they were coming after me, to them they were just lumbering around."

Mum: "relativity in action, Jake."

Jake: "Mmm.  In the future, you can read people's thoughts."

Zack: "That's not really good, Jake, because people's thoughts are personal."

Jake: "In the future they aren't."


I am now back in the present.  Thank you.

never agan!

Remind me never to sleep in my box agan. The experience was horiball! Firstly,I was using cushions to get comfortable so thay kept sliding about,so I ended up on the floor. Secondly, it was very low down [I have a high bed]. A bed's better than a box!

Me and mummy got two cardboard boxes, stuck them together and now its a TRANSMOGRIFIER!

So here's one: I want to be Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes.
I am already quite like Calvin - I have short, spiky hair and a toy tiger.
If I were Calvin, I would go down a hill in a wagon with my tiger.
